What is it?
A CD. An a cappella CD of songs that I've written.
So it's a recording of an a cappella group then?
Well, not exactly. It's a bunch of guys named Marc deLemos.
And who else?
That's it, actually. Whatever noises you hear on the CD...I made them.
Weird.
Yes, slightly...but that's not really out of character for me. Most people who've ever formed a group know how hard it is to keep it going, keep everyone going in the same direction, keep the groove flowing, keep the turnover to a minimum. I really wanted to record these songs, and I wanted to record them with vocalists who were 100% into the project. Vocalists who loved the songs as much as I do. Vocalists who were available whenever I was ready to record, any time of day or night, and would be just as committed as I was at all times.....it made for a very short list of prospective singers. The upside, of course, is that there are never any creative differences between the singers...
Is it any good?
Yeah. I think you'll like it.
What kind of music is it?
I write music like I write prose. Kind of quirky, a little off center, full of attitude, but never taking itself too seriously. Take a look around. If you like what you read on this site, you'll probably like what you hear on the CD.
How can I get a copy?
You can't yet. But you can real soon. I expect to release the CD in mid-September. Trust me, when it's available, I'll post it here.
What if I still have questions?
Then drop me a line.
